Who we are
Aurora Design Collective (“ADC”, “we”, “us”) is a learning media production studio, registered in the Philippines as a sole proprietorship. We are the personal information controller for the data described in this policy, which covers aurora-dc.com and any enquiry you send us.
What we collect
When you book a call or email us: your name, work email, company, role, the topic you want to train, an approximate number of learners, your preferred call times and time zone, and anything else you choose to tell us.
When you use the site: basic technical data that any website receives, such as your browser, device type, the pages you visit and an approximate location based on your IP address. We use it in aggregate to keep the site working and understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify you.
The repeat-training calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us unless you choose to share them on a call.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold the call, and send you a proposal or quote if you ask for one.
- To deliver a project if you become a client.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to improve it.
Our legal basis
We process your data under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). When you submit the booking form, you consent to us using your details to respond. We also rely on our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries and running our business, and, if you become a client, on the need to perform our agreement with you.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as website and video hosting, email, scheduling and project-management tools. They may only use it to provide their service to us. Some of them store data outside the Philippines; when they do, we choose providers that protect it to a standard comparable to Philippine law.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as Philippine tax and business laws require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry details sooner.
How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it, use providers with strong security, and protect our accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication. If a breach affecting your data ever happens, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed about how we use your data, to access it, to correct it, to object to its use, to have it erased or blocked, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to claim damages if it is misused. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
